Diminishing_ME's Journal, 08 November 2022

I have not been here in a while. I guess I was just being in denial about a few things in my life. So I am back, and want to commit to a better lifestyle.
Today is day 1!
I don't share my progress with friends, they either don't need to lose weight or they are drinkers and will gladly sabotage my journey to save their own soul. (Judge that statement if you like, they are not perfect friends, just people in my neighborhood).

I have a lot to fix in my life, I really let it go. COVID did not help at all. It was an excuse to get healthy or an excuse not to. I did not accept the healthy challenge, lol.

You are not alone— so many people used Covid as an excuse to go off the rail instead of as a reason to become as healthy as the can

Glad to have you back! Day #1 is an excellent time to clarify what it is you want to accomplish and what method you plan to use to do it. Do you know what WOE you will be following?

I’m new here. I do intermittent fasting. Eat only between 10am-6pm. Fruit/veggie shakes 1-2x day. Eat what I want in between and do a lite, daily exercise routine. Everything is going great and I’ve lost 14 lbs in 6 weeks or so. Since I started a lite daily exercise routine I’ve been stuck. I know muscle weighs more then fat so I’m hoping that’s it but I decided to do some calorie counting to see what I actually eat during the day? I feel great, energy lever is fantastic, and my muscles are getting stronger. Excited for this next chapter 🤗🤗

Quick question? I accidentally entered my breakfast calories in twice. Is there a way to edit the entry?

Welcome back! As opposed to getting stuck on the scale number, take some measurements too… and use the way your clothes fit as a guide as well. Muscle weighs exactly the same as fat, but takes up far less space… you could be stuck at the same weight for weeks but go down one or two sizes. I have inflammation from autoimmune disease so I’ve learned to use other things to gauge my progress. Best of luck, you’ve got this!

@lidiaZB, welcome. Yes, there is a way to delete your duplicate food entry. Just click on it and then select Delete (if you're on the website). If you're using the app, click the down arrow (right under the calories for that meal, then click on the item and select Delete). Feel free to create your own post to introduce yourself - you'll get a lot more support.

I’m isolating my self as well because of the same reason all drinkers and most of them don’t need to loose weight, they all into fitness thou it’s a strange combination, I see why they don’t get the results but I’m too fat to say so😂 So space for my self to heal it’s just what I need starting my journey once again BEAT OF LUCK FOR YOU 🤍

DONT be hard on yourself. We all have setbacks and take comforts and stray at times. And lockdown was really really shitty for some of us!!! More than others. Just pick yourself up, give yourself the biggest clap on the back and get going again. Know we are all here, cheering you on. Knowing every bit better you get, you will feel better, feel more energetic, feel proud and we will be sharing in all your happiness as you improve your health & vitality. YOU GOT THIS> WE ARE GOING TO WORK NOW!! SLOW BUT SURELY :)
