Hmm... I walked for an hour, vegetated the rest of the day 😁

Did you Have a lot of water or other drinks prior to bedtime?

You going to solve it? 😆 I actually think it was the pea protein isolate i just started testing. It has a decent amount of sodium and in my saltless diet it was enough for my body to boost my water retention. I might try limit that and see how it affects...

You went 2-3 weeks with eating 1000 calories and u did not lose weight?

Sometimes, if you cut back too low, your body goes into starvation mode and resists weight loss. You might consider upping your calories a bit. I find I lose better when I stay round 1500-1600 calories.

Shir, this was after i had been doing about 1800-2000 calorie days. That's why it didn't make any sense. And starvation mode supposedly in the sense people usually refer to it doesn't kick in within a day... I have done constant deficit but played around with the calorie input. The best i lost when i was doing super low calories day after day but i want to curb eating away my muscles in the process and hence have increased my intake. That being said, i am still not losing. And I'm still in deficit.

After this, day after day i gained for a week, while in solid deficit. Still am 5 pounds heavier than this...

I feel like my scale is messing with me. I go over rdi - I'm lighter the next day. I go under - a gain. Is it our metabolic angels trying to stop us from not getting enough nutrition?

I'm thinking i might have to change the battery in my scale... But it doesn't explain why my jeans are getting tighter again

A nutritionist once explained to me something called 'set weight' or "set point" theory. Google it.

Sounds like it may be fluid issues; cut back on your salt intake and up your water intake. You need to flush out that stuff.

KC, yeah, that's what im hoping... I drank some 2 gallons yesterday alone 😁

Yohoyoh, I'm sorry, I didn't realize you had only just cut back on your calories. While my weight can fluctuate 5 pounds or more while I'm eating within my RDI, I don't have any answers for you. When it happens to me, I just keep doing what I know is right, and I start losing again. While I have lots of fluctuations, the overall trend is ever downward. Good luck on your journey, I hope it all works out for you. 🌈🌈🌈
