Sept 30th
blacked out at Wal-Mart, wound up in ER . They run bunch of tests, then sent me to Springfield hospital for overnight & more tests. I hate going to hospitals & doctors, they NEVER know what's wrong with me, & the tests never show anything. After I was discharged I spent almost 2 weeks in bed, or on couch. I was still really dizzy, chest hurt, & the entire right side of my body hurt. Went for follow up n doc gave me medicine for dizziness, it helps but makes me tired.
The right side of my body still hurts.
On plus side my sugar levels are running between 80 -160. Yesterday they hit 48 , too low for me felt shaky n sick. Sent doctor list of readings just waiting to see if he adjusts insulin or ideas to keep from crashing.

Do you have symptoms of Ehlers-Danlos syndromes? Several people I know just got diagnosed with it, it is a genetic so there is a blood test. Hope you feel better!

48 is in the danger zone, in that range brain function is impaired. You need to have glucose tabs handy. You should have got the sweats, along with tunnel vision. My prayers you feel better and your BGL gets under better control

Hope the doctor finds a solution to your problem. A friend who has frequent highs and lows wears a monitor and checks it frequently.

Sounds like low blood sugar symptoms to me. I know some people don't recognize their symptoms. My husband ended up in the hospital last year with a low blood sugar of 27. Super dangerous. Always carry your test kit with you and some glucose tablets or even a roll if Lifesavers candy. Read up on the symptoms of low blood sugar and check and treat it immediately. Be safe.

Hope it's nothing serious and they pin down the cause.

Almost 18 pounds is a good size drop. You are wise to check in with your doctor...

Thanks for prayers & caring. I was in Springfield Missouri. All tests came back normal. They checked heart, head , sugar levels, & ran tests looking for blood clots. One doctor felt that it was a blood clot that had broke loose & went into my lung, because some test level was reading possible blood clot but they did some sort of imaging test & didn't find anything. The second doctor said that he thought that my sugar levels rapidly dropped , then rose back up quickly due to rush of adrenaline from body's own fight or flight response. When they checked levels were 159. It was & is scary because they're not sure what caused it. I had almost zero warning this time. Instant hot, dizzy, hard to breathe, chest tight, busting headache. I always carry my diabetic meter with me , was out of it before I could use it.

Your d-dimer was probably high so they did a CT Angio scan of your pulmonary arteries...

Oh wow! I hope and pray that the doctor find out what's going on, to help combat your blood sugar levels to normal, yes 48 is too low for anyone, I'm praying for you, that all will be well soon, take it easy until the doctors find a solution.
