Day 2 of a planned 5 day 'no solid food fast'

Blood sugar 93 mg/dL

🧘🏾‍♂️ Still trying to work off that 10lbs gain from my 4 day vacation this past weekend. The thing that makes me feel good is that I logged my food every day (to the best of my ability). I feel I have documented what will definitely make me gain 10lbs in a 4 day period. This is really valuable information for me.

🏋🏾 Carbs help me ‘Lift Heavy’. My goal is to be able to squat 200lbs+ for 30 reps. This is my ‘True North’, the direction I am always pointed toward. When I can do that, I believe ‘the math changes’ and it wont be just a matter of losing weight, but shedding fat to revel a ‘sculpted body’. Well, that is the plan at least, let’s see what happens…

😎 After literally consuming 700 carbs in a 4 days period, I went to the gym yesterday and crushed my previous numbers! Keep in mind 7 days ago the previous numbers were the best I have-ever-done-in-my-life:

💪🏾 Bench Press – Previous: 85lbs Now: 90lbs (10 reps)
💪🏾 Deadlift – Previous: 110lbs Now: 140lbs (6 reps)
💪🏾 Squat - Previous: 140lbs Now: 160lbs (10 reps)
💪🏾 Shrug - Previous: 140lbs Now: 160lbs (10 reps)

178.0 lb Lost so far: 29.0 lb.    Still to go: 14.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

YEAH!!!! You got those squats up to 160 like you wanted!!!! Amazing what a little sugar can do...lol Glad you enjoyed your weekend and now are enjoying some great after effects!!!!

@nikeit - Thanks! I just got back from the gym. I am now fasted 48 hours. I was able to do 160lbs squats again but barely. Next workout is Thursday. I will be fasted 96 hours, lets see what happens... :)

Great job lifting! And 700 carbs in 4 days is not that bad Adef. It could have been worse! On my bday (alone) I ate 316 carbs 😬
