GETTING STRONGER...goood monday morning..just came home from a morning ride with my friend mike..did alittle different route then wednesday..but last part of ride was the hill portion..an i told mike..to ride his ride..not to wait on me..i rode behind him an when i thought id be passing him i would tell him to speed up..an he did...beautiful sunrise in the east this morning..but when im riding...i dont stop for pictures..im out to get my ride an workout over with...an get er done...

i could tell today that my riding time..my going up hills..didnt have to shift if last gears to get up hills...its all improving by riding out of town an facing the hills...no one i know likes to ride hills..but its a sure fire way to increase your leg muscles an strengthen them as well...told mike to pencil me in for next monday for another out of town ride...really enjoy spending the time to ride with him...its helping me to become a better rider and a stronger rider..and even though the scales arent showing progress..i can see it when i put on my clothes..

I'm not using my bike for endurance riding. I'm doing HIIT on it. 60/90 intervals for about 1/2 hr.

HIT TRAINING on a bike is great ...i just enjoy riding once i get on my road bike..alot of mornings..im not in the mood to ride..i almost dread it..but once i get out in the morning air..an start riding..i get into my mode ...i listen to hit interval music..so in a way im doing hit riding along with my long rides...
