I've been hitting gym pretty hard lately as we are leaving on vacation in 2 days. I was super happy today as I squatted 105 lbs, 10 reps and 5 sets! Form was good too! Nice deep squats, chest lifted, and knees behind toes with weight in heels! Also did lunges with a 25 lb kettlebell, leg presses 50lb plates, and sled with 90 lb plates. ( all were 3 sets, 12 reps) I also did my cardio warmup on treadmill.
130.2 lb Lost so far: 24.8 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Superman, we do travel a lot. We have a 5th wheel RV and we live in the desert so every summer we go on a month to 6 week trip to get out of heat. We are leaving in a couple days and have no return date scheduled as of yet.. it's a perk of being retired! 👍 Are, thanks! I'm trying to get stronger! I'm bringing my weights and will use utube for workouts and I'll do my zoom class with Letty twice a week. Won't be as good as going to gym but it will help me keep in shape. 💜💪

Great job at the gym! I couldn't do any of what you do. It's all I can do to get through the stretches the physical therapist wants me to do. Hope you enjoy your vacation.

DP, wifey, petra, thank you guys! I find so much inspiration from all of you. The stories of your journeys are what helps motivate me! Being in maintenance can be mondane and seeing your successes (and even your challenges) helps me know I'm not alone. I realize I'm in a place that many are not and I feel blessed to have been successful. Just so you all know, I'm your biggest cheerleader! 💪💜💜

Diana - I am not dedicated - wish I was! I got back from vacation last week and cancelled my PT appointments for this week because I just don't want to go through it. I see my doctor today and will ask him if I should continue with PT since I still have the same pain.

Fritzy, well I think you are dedicated. You seem to be trying to make your injuries better. I do know what you mean about PT though. A few years ago I fell 10 foot off a cliff on my mountain bike and tore my MCL and opted not to have surgery. I did PT instead but after going a handful of times I got frustrated and just did the stretches at home on my own. It has never really been the same and I have to wear a knee band/ brace when I lift. I hope you are able to get positive results!!

Almost body weight, 105 lbs 5X10 perfect form deep squats with a pacemaker, injection fraction 41.5%, female at age 64 !!! Speechless...hat off.

Tasso, wow! What a great memory you have! Thanks for the compliment! I didn't well with pacemaker. The injectior fraction is something I still struggle with. I'm having a hard time staying hydrated.. I make sure I drink lots of water but if I start doing stuff I get really weak, especially when it's hot.( I live in desert so it's a challenge to stay cool)

Jc, Matt, and HCB, thank you guys! I'm trying to get stronger but even though I love to travel it interferes with my workouts. That's ok though...I still workout and we always hike a lot but not same as lifting. The reward is seeing our beautiful country! 💜🇺🇲🇺🇲

Diana, I bring my resistance bands with me -- much lighter than dumbbells in a suitcase. They came as a variety pack of "weights." Not quite the same as lifting, but they're great for travel.
