Rick has more nutrition in half a day than you do in 2. This is bonus energy for solid gains.

Diablo, of course he does…because he burns 2-3000 more calories than me and it’s ok for him and you. Honey Smacks provide 32g carbs per 36g serving while Cheerios provide 29g carbs per 39g serving. Carb intake is similar. The difference is Honey smacks has 18g added sugar and Cheerios has 2g. That’s all I’m saying.

Well, he isn't diabetic plus he is having it with slow digesting protein so it won't even spike his insulin as much as you'd think anyway. Cheerios are bland. You eat the good stuff when you need to have a lot of calories in a day.

Agree casein is great before bed and mixing carbs/sugars with it is not as bad as just eating the sugar alone. I don’t think most people dig that deep into the science.

Hk3, if this meal didn't taste good I wouldnt of been able to get it down. If I had to sit Infront of a bowl of cherrios it would of turned to mush and I would of went to bed at maintenance calories. I know this isn't the cleanest of choices but I guess I could of been way worse. I kept it strict And super clean for 12weeks then struggled to push past a plateau. I've found Poptarts and sugary cereal are quick and easy and serve their purpose for now.

I usually have some fats with my meal at the end of the day to slow the digestion and release of the carbs... It didn't cross my mind yesterday or else I'd of had some almond butter in the shake. Or something along that line. 🤦🤷
