Well I didn’t make weight goal by 40 but close! I gave up awhile back because it just wasn’t that important to me to lose an extra 5-8# and risk losing muscle mass. Another goal was to fit into my prom dress from junior year. I was 17. It fits! A little more snug especially through the hips but that’s to be expected after having three kids! It’s lost some beads and has some discoloration but it is 23 years old after all! Sadly it it a tiny bit big on my 12 year old so nobody else would get to wear it if I repaired it :/. I think I’ll keep it in my closet and see how it fits at 50! 😝

Thanks everyone! This is my all time favorite dress! I’ve just never had anywhere to wear it after my prom. Now it’s faded, missing beads and I’m sure not in style anymore lol. If I get a bit more off the hips I may just wear it around the house, missing beads and all! Lol. I can’t believe it almost fits my 12 year old! She can wear it for dress up when she plays with her little sister maybe.
