@liv001 - Thanks. The only thing I am doing 'right' is recording everything I eat and running 15 miles a week. However, I continue to have 200-300 carb days (on some days). That simply must stop for me to lose weight. The election in the US made me feel much better 'mentally' so I think the vaccines coming out will allow me to feel even better and make the 'changes' I need :) Take Care!

Yes ma'am there is nothing to do but let go but you will never lose her she's your daughter she just starting her life just like you did she loves you she is not going anywhere just growing up sometimes we have to let go even when we don't won't too I don't have children but I lived with my mom along time and she decided she wanted to move out and live with her boyfriend they are also engaged just haven't jump the broom yet my point is it was hard for me I never lived alone and all of a sudden I was on my own and scared but I made it now I'm fine and taking care of business no worries be blessed

I know how you feel. I gained weight after mine left for university. It's hard for moms to let go of their babies (not saying it isn't for dads as well). Congrats on both!

I remember that feeling of loosing my daughter once she got married. The best part of it however... it didn't last long and I got a fantastic son in law in the process. Two for one!! And it's been 12 years they've been married. Make time for the two of you!! It is special time together!!

Congrats to your daughter. I can’t imagine the day mine gets hooked either. We are so close and you know how it can go, the other family divides etc. I hope that doesn’t happen. I love her so much. Btw, it’s a beautiful 💍!!

Congratulations on weight loss and your daughters engagement. It's hard when they grow up and start a new phase of their lives but it also allows you to have new experiences and that can be amazing! I love my daughter in-law and she is a wonderful mother to my granddaughters! 💜💜💜💜💜

Both of my daughters got married in the last few years. It's definitely bittersweet. But we raise them to fly the nest one day and make their own life - so we did our job. Maybe we'll get some little grandchildren out of the deal!
