So.....
Repair surgery next Friday but it should resolve through a fairly quick procedure. 2 hours including anesthesia. They’ll remove the hematoma then untangle the stitch and nerve. After that they will repair the nerve. Either by reattaching it or taking part of a nerve from another area to use (although he said that would be worst case scenario).
Bright sides:
*Nerve damage should be corrected.
*I can go right back to the workout I’m doing on Monday. It’ll be sore but not painful.

Brightest side:
The doctors were all very happy to see I have maintained my weight. The head surgeon asked how I was doing it and I told him that it was easiest explained as counting. I counted calories in and counted calories out. He got a kick out of that and said it was perfect. He said that most coming out of surgery (in his experience) gain quite a bit (not just water) and lose motivation. Especially surgeries where fat is removed as some see it as a quick fix.
My response...
Sure, it can be, but not if you want results to last.

Two months to do a nerve repair surgery ?! I guess it was doctors' choice not yours. Wishing you everything go well.

That is awesome and somehow I think that the head surgeon will share your success with others to try to encourage them!

Thank you Tass, Kat, Inder, & Ireland!😊 I appreciate all the well wishes and prayers! Tass- Last surgery was a month ago to repair an old scar site they went through 2 months ago that caused some minor bleeding complications. From that repair surgery a hematoma and nerve damage developed. They waited in hopes for the hematoma to reabsorb and for the stitches to dissolve and release nerve. They finally decided that it was too problematic and would most not heal itself. And, most likely, that the nerve will need to be reattached. (They definitely said it in a more proper way but that was my takeaway from it).
