CICO life. I don’t “diet”. I make conscious decisions. If I want a brownie, I’ll have it. I just make sure it fits into my calories.
Lifting and cardio 6 days a week, most weeks, but I do listen to my body and take a day off if I need. I make sure it’s for a real reason verses laziness.
I don’t beat myself up.
If I want advice, I’ll ask. Other than that.. I’m just doing me and what works for me. I have my go-to guru at home.
Married to a great guy. Wonderful kids. And I have a ton of support at home. Medically retired from the military. I’m a Christian and I won’t hide that fact. Thanking God is part of my everyday life.
Don’t like what I have to say, what my journal postings are, the pictures? Um, tough.
I don’t measure success by a blue line on my page (yes, it’ll be cool to see, as it means I hit a goal) but it’s not reaching the blue. It’s reaching a healthy place. I measure my success by my ability to stumble, pick myself up, and get back to business. Success is my dedication to be a better me. Success is in always trying to be a good person.
