Oh dear friends how I have missed you!

Not the greatest workout but I’m basically where I was in terms of weights. I just had to take the reps down some. It hurt the ribs way more than I was expecting!

If you need something to do at home to not lose your upper body progress I highly recommend pushups. I hate them but they kept me basically where I was at 2 months ago. My massage lady also told me today that she can tell my weak side is catching up with my strong side since I’ve been doing pushups. My spine is still being pulled to the right which is why I have back issues but she said it wasn’t as bad this morning as it has been!

Pa isn’t opening till 5/8 and it’s 24 counties out of 67. It’s not safe here for most.

Our city started phase one on Friday. Restaurants, gyms etc can open but 6’ space must be maintained. Our gym choose to wait and open today. We had to make an appointment to go to the gym today. 6 people max in the weight area. But before we left I counted and there were 14 of us spread out between the weight machines and the free weights. Everyone kept their distance and no hello’s other than nods from across the room. We had to agree to a waiver as well as clean any equipment we touch before and after we use it. They had staff and trainers coming behind and giving everything a good wipe down about every 10-15 minutes or when someone left a machine or bench. We didn’t wear masks but the staff had them. We used germx afterward just in case. I can’t wash my gloves so I’ll have to remember to set them out in the sun tomorrow. I didn’t notice until today but most of my calluses on my hands are almost gone. Time to make new ones lol. We can only make appointments on certain days and only 24-48 hours in advance so I’m not sure if we will be able to get our 3x a week in or not. As long as we get bench day I’m good!

Jordan Yeoh on YouTube has gotten me through the no gym stress. He is awesome.. as long as you modify when needed, anyone can follow him.

Our YMCA just told us there is a 30 person limit in the building but they aren’t taking appointments now. We can just go in whenever we want as long as we sign a waiver and allow them to take our temps. Not sure how the ribs will hold up but we plan to go again tonight :). I’m sure I can tell you how wonderful it is when we get back. Like you do with all those delicious pizzas you tell us about 🤣😝. Mmmmm pizza. Might have to pick up a few on the way home.
