Thank you!💞🤗
Now I think I should clarify something.
In saying my husband never made me feel fat...
Here’s the reason. I think it had a lot to do with him just being happy to still have me around. Going through 25 surgeries from a horrific attack while
I was in the service, hearing from doctors daily that there wasn’t enough confidence I could come through this, and learning how to walk again and talk again made him stress daily with uncertainty about my ability to recover or our future.
I worked hard on recovery.
And after recovering we went through several miscarriages and 3 births. 2015, 2016, and 2019.
So, yep, he never made me feel bad about my weight.
When I got in a place where my main concern could be in becoming healthier, I had to make that choice. That is when he stepped in with a plan to help. I never used my past as an excuse. I simply didn’t have it in me to push hard after all the things I had to do in terms of recovering. I was tired and he understood.
I’m in that place where I can focus. Physically and mentally. Once I got here I chose.
I worked out with my chemo treatment just recently, too. I was blessed to not have as bad a reaction as some do.
We only see snapshots into people’s daily lives. Hopefully this helps make sense of why he waited for ME to make the choice. Why his focus was never on my weight.
I’m also a firm believer in not using circumstances as excuses but I understand being exhausted.

That's awesome, BK! So glad you are healthy! You have been through a ton, eh? I haven't been through anything- I was just wasting my health. You look great!

Thank you, DP!💞🤗
I’ve been through a bit but I think it’s made me appreciate more and why my faith is so important to me. It also caused a severe stubborn streak. 😂
