I buy the exact same tomatoes! But rarely finish them

Not me. These go into almost everything I cook plus serve as my sweet snack when I just grab a couple to munch on.

Love your basket. Those tomatoes are favorites around here also. I can down that whole container without blinking! Anytime you need a dinner companion I'm your girl!

I'm like you in the produce section. I can't stop myself. I have to have a budget before I start. :)

Shir, Binky, Dawnie, Moo & Eva - thank you all. I do love those cherubs.. they rarely disappoint.

Binky - I always think I'm doing well in that I have to pass thru the bakery section to get to the produce.. maybe that's the problem?? I used up all my will power walking past the asiago cheese bagels.

Moo - you are so right. I got the Sartori Bellavitano Gold & the Merlot as well as Wensleydale & Cranberries. Those are presently my 3 favs until I find your Fromager D'Affinois to try. I love this merlot review: By wedding this rich, creamy cheese to the berry and plum notes of Merlot, we've created a marriage of flavors destined to make your taste buds say, "I do."

Eva - thank you. There was more once I finally pushed the basket past the produce. That Bison Sirloin I had for dinner. Some catfish. Beef calf liver. I'm a shopper.

I haven’t tried the gold version, but the merlot cheese is one of my faves. I like the cranberry goat cheese but it’s a little sweet for me. I want to live in your kitchen too. My friend would say we have the same taste.

I have a very small kitchen.. but the more the merrier. As long as you can follow the rules.. in my kitchen.. we dance while we cook.

I want to mention something about the cheese - I have had that cranberry goat cheese..not a fan. THIS is Wensleydale with Cranberries is a hand-made Yorkshire cheese that is sold fresh & young at only three weeks old. The cheese has a sweet flavour of the fruity succulence of juicy cranberries with honeyed undertones. (copied from the internet). It's a totally different, much better flavor.. IMO

On a stick! Here's a link - this is a total 'dessert indulgent snack' cheese for me.
