The implant process takes almost a year to complete -- at least with MY periodontist. (HEY, I didn't know there was that first "o" in periOdontist! Thanks for drawing it to my attention! I go next month for the final check-up before they can put the crown on the implant. I'll be happy to not have this hillbilly smile! (The one being implanted is my eye tooth, so it shows when I smile!) Thankful again for being reminded that my dear twin friends PAID the $6,000 for me to get this done, and another $3,000 to get the other crowns I needed to remove decay before the doc would do the implant. I am blessed beyond measure!
