Just for the heck of it...Good Friday morning...thought about a fast today..but then instead decided to go carb/sugar free today and tomorrow..and after that we will see...

Did a hill zwift ride yesterday...I was toast when I got off the bike...I did a gel pack when I rode...hated to...but needed what I thought for the energy..I’m out of ketosis...trying to get back into that...was thinking this morning how my eating has changed so much last 6 months...due to bike wreck..stress..not knowing what all the above would bring...

Today’s experiment is to try and get back into my mode I was in..only problem no Himalayan salt in house...hoping the hammer electrolytes I have will keep electrolytes in check today...

Also when mood happens to make its appearance...I can get a zwift ride in...to cold outsside..well 45.... for me...that’s cold...I want my 70 s back...o well..gonna have to learn to live with it for a few months

Have a great Friday.....

I struggle too with eating in longer bike rides. Rode three hilly hours on the weekend but knew I couldn’t do it without any food - tried that a couple of weeks ago and it was miserable. So this time drank ketones. Ate some nuts and one small granola bar. Felt a bit better still not the usual full carb energy but mood was much better. Happy Friday

I used to commute by bicycle when I lived in Denver and Anchorage. Then, time passed and I quit riding. When I was diagnosed with diabetes in 2011, I found Dr. Phinney at *Me and My Diabetes*, and started following him. This year, I was able to get and ride another bicycle.
