Ehhh after hitting the 1 year anniversary for my fiance's birthday (March) and his death... (April) I did not do well. Lots of triggering moments along with Dad being in the hospital and travel for work... it's been ridiculous.
I am getting back on the horse and today I'm pretty proud of my daily goals I've hit already. I did my Beachbody workout for 30 minutes and I walked at the beach park afterward. Pretty good start considering I've only been walking. I gained about 8 pounds in 2.5 months so that is pretty bad but I'm going to be gentle with myself because my excuses which are just excuses did have some pretty heavy mental health issues included. All I can do is own that I ate fast food to self soothe. Time to work through these self sabotaging habits that need to be replaced with better more healthier habits for self-soothing.

Yay! I met my goal and then some, woot, woot! Didn't even really notice until I got on the scale ha! I guess I have to set another goal. Cool way to start the week.

Been 3 weeks of working out everyday or at least taking a walk and eating low carb. I've lost 8 pounds since I started and I have lots of energy. This year is about consistency. Being consistent in my everyday small tasks adds up to a lot of progress in the long run. I'm usually really good at loosing weight... but keeping it off not so much so I'm excited to see that 21 days of keeping the same good habits has paid off a bit.

Been working out and eating healthy. Been a bit of a lunatic with my schedule. Trying hard to keep my workout schedule even on days I dont want to do the workout. So far so good. Still dealing with the everyday mental and emotional side effects from the loss of my fiance. Trying to rebuild life... very, very hard to do. But keeping my schedule, honoring my boundaries, and ensuring that only healthy options are in the house is really supporting the every day need to build a new routine and create new habits. I miss my fiance dearly... grief is a hell of a thing... but I'm taking things minute by minute and keeping my routines and honoring the things I need to do feel like I have some sort of control since everything is still very surreal.
