Why do I keep drinking Soda Pop!!! My weakness and when I drink that, then I want to have chips, chocolate and bread. Ugh, the struggle.

I found some flavored sparkling water...helped me quite a bit with my soda (pop, coke...whatever one wishes to call such fizzy good(but bad for you)ness) cravings ^^

Ugghhhh, I believe that wine is the culprit behind my gain this week, after sticking to my macros pretty closely and expecting a sure loss. No wine this week!! I like plain seltzer with SF naturally flavored fruit syrup...

Let me tell you a story that is really embarrassing for me, but pertains to this post. When I first started Keto I knew that I had to cut out Dr. Pepper, which was almost the only thing I drank. The first few days was so hard. My husband and I went to the gas station and he grabbed a coke for him, water for me, and a DP for my sister in law. I could smell it, I wanted it so bad I started sobbing right there in the parking lot. That was my WAKE UP, that a craving could get me so worked up I was sobbing, I knew then and there I would never drink it again. I haven't had a soda in 4 months. It was HARD but you can do it. I did!

@Klynn82 Thanks for relating that experience to us. It def illustrates the hold that food/drink can have on a person, and I would guess that most of us here have that one thing that they just can't quit... Or cry trying. 🤯💕
