Ok I'm doing the keto plan here and since March Madness began Ive been in major ketosis...Ive never been this achy as today so I'm now sipping on a cup of chicken bouillon ... I'm in need of information as to what you do or have done for this..I don't feel bad at all, but I have recently noticed the soreness in legs etc and I haven't been busting a move yet with the ankle injury so its keto related....

Sounds like time for pedialyte shots. The stuff is terrible I hide it in chicken soup.

I use a mag mixture that contains 3 different types of magnesium. magnesium glycinate, magnesium L-Threonate (this one crosses the blood-brain barrier) and Magnesium So far it is doing wonders also take a potassium every day.

the third one is magnesium taurate

I drink pickle juice shots in the evening. I keep my sodium intake pretty high. I also drink tons of water all day. Keto-flu didn't hit me too hard, but I started keto while I had the flu. Bone broth, pickles and olives, and almonds helped me. Good luck, I'm sorry you are hurting.

Magnesium. But what really did it was electrolytes. I was so wobbly legged and fatigued I thot I was going to have to quit. I'm fine now. Go slow on the magnesium. It can cause diarrhea. Good luck.

Certain forms of magnesium are more laxative (oxide). I don't believe chelates or aspartates have the same effect.

Make sure you take potassium for muscle soreness. I would get cramps at night when I didn't supplement. I had to take laxatives too. I suggest something natural.

For cramps: 1 TB of French's Yellow mustard, morning and evening. It's got the vinegar of the pickle juice, plus the anti-inflammatory of turmeric. It's bizarre, I laughed when it was recommended-but it worked.

I had that problem also. Plus terrible headaches. The ketogains Facebook group has a list of the required electrolyte supplements that you need daily. The major one is salt. I use 4 TVs sole solution a day. Also magnesium and potassium. The potassium you may get in your food but the magnesium you probably need to supplement. Look up the quantities on the ketogains site. I had the list but can’t seem to locate it now. You will be surprised at how much you need. Think it is also on a Dr berg YouTube topic. Good luck. Once you get the electrolytes worked out you will feel 100 times better
