Fish oil (or consuming adequate amounts of fish weekly) will help reduce muscle soreness

Maybe your potassium is low? I know I struggled with potassium at first / I supplement my diet now and actually keep track of how much sodium and potassium I take in. NoSalt and avocados are great ways to add potassium.

Are you drinking enough fluids, you could be dehydrating yourself and don't know it - Ive had same thing happen

Tilapia is good, one of my fave fish dish. Yeah I don’t like the fish burp part of it either, but they do have liquid fish oil and other pill forms that don’t cause the fish burps. Although I haven’t looked into getting one like that for myself yet because I don’t have them for long period of time. But I know they do make fish oil supplements that lessen or halt those.

I had this for a while. I take nosalt (1/4t in morning and 1/4t at night) mixed in water. I also take natural calm for magnesium. Not sure if that’s what finally helped but it did go away. I’m sorry you’re not 100%. Hope you feel better quickly! Hugs maxie

Make sure your potassium is enough. Take a supplement if need be and also keep hydrated. Electrolyte imbalance can cause muscle cramps.

Add nutritional yeast and a good electrolyte powder to your day. Drinking lots of water tend to flush out your electrolyes and can quicly lead to great discomfort. Magnesium lactate, potassium citrate, sea salt/pink salt. Calcium preferably from cheese and vegetables.

thank you diddlee all of your info was very informative and I will watch the washing away of my electrolytes didn't think of that at all:)

I agree with Diddlee...I think your flushing out your electrolytes. Drinking too much water can actually dehydrate you from loss of electrolytes. Back off the water and see if that helps at all!

Also if caffeine is consumed, it acts as a natural diuretic which can dehydrate the body to a degree which would mean that hydration is more of a requirement since caffeinated beverages can negate this.

Although Powerade gives you electrolytes, it's not the same as getting a good dose of potassium and magnesium
And in your case, cramps don't sound like lack of hydration. So look for good supplements
