Sharons Victory's Journal, 27 February 2018

I'm learning that when I'm hungry the best thing to eat is just straight meat. Just a very very small amount though is all that's necessary. Even if it's the afternoon and just a snack because it keeps me full and satisfied better than anything else...even healthy fats, which I also try to eat (avocado is the best!) but still doesn't work as well as meat.

I also read a few studies that we only absorb 70% of meat's calories because of how much work it takes for our body to digest it! So that's another good thing :). I'm not naturally a meat eater...Naturally I'd always select bagels, all sorts of fruits, cheese and beans any day haha...unfortunately that's not what helps me lose weight.

Lately I've been noticing I lose more if I have very low days once n awhile...1200 calorie range. I just do it on days when I can live without any more food for the day...don't starve myself on days I actually want to eat.

I've been really really good about not ever missing the gym for awhile now - I go 5 days a week at 5am. And sometimes I've been getting in my second work out after work but not if I don't feel up to it.

I really really hope I make it to at least 220 by summer...208, my lowest I've ever got before, would be even better...

Then onderland?????? Seems so so unobtainable at this point but if I just keep my head raised up and eye on the prize, keep going and never give up I need to remember that it WILL happen and I WILL get there!! It's not a rush...but I am looking forward to getting to enjoy reaping some of the benefits of all my consistent hard work.

Right now I'm day dreaming about wearing a bikini again (which believe it or not I look great in at 208 and getting to see all the guys that rejected me running in to me...that would be such a happy day <3

You can totally do it! Just keep going and be patient (that’s the hard part for me because I want it to be now haha) I can give advice but don’t always listen to myself😉 you’re doing great!

100% with you on protein -- I didn't buy in for the longest time -- and I don't love it either -- but it really does sustain you longer on way fewer calories.

Way to go for finding what works for you! It will happen and you will get there as you say. Even if the bikini is not this year but instead next year and every year after that! It will be worth it for you.

Be patient! I have read that eating the same calories on Keto diet versus SAD, there is a small (3% to 6%) inefficiency - in other words, the body extracts less energy from the keto diet. Plus many find it more satisfying, so they are less likely to overeat.

If that is the lowest you've been that's fantastic. I do understand. I just started and that goal seems so far away. I plan to just keep my head down and keep moving forward. I hope and pray you all will help encourage me. you are so close to the 200 mark....go girl go!!
