I was not strong enough to fight the cravings this week :( Shooting for a better week...Pool is OPEN! Went grocery shopping, bought really good bread and stuff for healthy lunch samiches. Trying to get the family on board with the healthy eating, thats a battle in itself. I've got a busy week ahead of me so I'm going to do my best!

I haven't lost a thing but I think I know why. I have done some thinking this past week. When I was younger, I was about 200lbs. I rode my bike, swam, played softball, etc. I was pretty active. In 1997 I tore my Right ACL in my Knee. I stopped playing Softball. In 2003, I was at 220 and gained an additional 20lbs due to college stress and eating. Fun Fun. Found myself at the computer more because of homework and chatting. Between 2003-Present Day, I found my love for PC Gaming, and being on the pc became my favorite place to be. Unfortunately, I pretty much gave up being active. On top of that I started dating my bf in 2005. With that came going out to dinner, eating buffets, playing online games. We both ballooned to a great big weight. I was all the way up to 340 when I started this weight loss journey. Once I cut all the bad stuff, I immediately lost 20lbs. My boyfriend (Fish609) has been doing extremely well. However my body has stuck at this 320lb weight. I'm eating 1600-1800 calories a day. That’s how I use to eat back in the day. I'm not losing pounds but I'm losing inches like my body is reshaping itself. Clearly my answer is that I need to move. I have to be active again. It is hard to become active and make healthier food swaps. The idea seems so simple yet so hard to achieve. I’m also scared to work out alone. Since my knee injury I have been scared to walk long distances or ride my bike alone because it can go out or shift resulting in great pain. I tore my ACL but being so young my ligaments helped repair the damage. I will eventually need surgery down the road. Anyway I think I finally have my boyfriend on board to work out with me. I have my elliptical at his house so I’m going to start walking on it every night I’m there. That way, he’s there in case I fall or overdo it. I have a real bad habit of doing that. My pool is also open so that will help with circulation. I’m hoping that by doing that and “training” I will be able to be more active, walk further distances, be able to ride my bike without pain.

Was curious about something - do you keep lots of "legal" foods on hand for snacking? I'll be honest with you - I don't have a lot of willpower. But I keep lots of good food around so when I'm hungry I won't be tempted by the chips, etc.

Nope. I'm not much of a snacker. If I eat chips they're Fat Free or Reduced fat pringles that I count out and take with my lunch.
