My very favorite home made meal! Ground turkey cooked with taco seasoning and lots of fresh cilantro, on top of sliced baked sweet potato, and topped with a bit of avocado and verde salsa. Easy to tweak to your own diet, but perfect for me, and SO GOOD.

Hey Sydvicious. Contacting you because you said you're losing by counting calories. I'm doing the same and generally eat 1200-1400 a day lately. Have only lost .2 pounds in 9 days and wanted your input, suggestions, etc. I did have a cheat day but my calories still only averaged 12-1350 for the week even with that day.
My clothes are definitely fitting looser and I and others see the difference but you know how we need the scale! Any thoughts, wisdom, guidance to share?

kmking40 2 pounds in nine days is a lot... when you first lose weight, it's normal to lose ten or twenty pounds in the first month, but after that you should only be losing about a pound a week. to me, unless you're already very small, 1200 calories is actually far too low. I just had a breathing test at my nutritionist today and found that at rest I currently burn 2370 calories a day. I'm on a 1800-2000 calorie a day average diet. what you need is PATIENCE. you're not going to or supposed to drop five pants sizes in a month. my personal recommendation is eat a little more (unless you're a small person) and be patient. give it six months of consistency and you'll be happy and maybe surprised with the results...

kmking40 I just looked and saw that you're 262 lbs... my high weight was 246, and I started with a 2100 calorie per day diet and lost like a pound to a pound and a half per week very consistently. again, don't restrict yourself too much, and be patient!
