I count calories (limited to 2000 daily when I weighed upwards of 250, but now limiting to around 1600 most days) and make sure to get at least 100 grams of protein a day, but let carbs and fat fall where they may! Carbs are not the devil, and your body needs all macronutrients to perform at it's peak!
