Had YouTube running on the TV as I did chores yesterday. Some wicked skiing videos came up and it hit me, even though I walk the dogs at least three miles most nights, if I were up on those mountains today, my lungs would be burning trying to get air at altitude and getting oxygen to my muscles. Because I'm an optimist, I'm hoping this is the year I can bum a trip to the Canadian Rockies again and I want to be in shape so I can make the most of it! That is independent of anything the scale says ever.

Today, I'm "boarding" in my office on the simplyfit board while I'm at work. Good for the legs, good for the core. I'm a skier, not a snowboarder these days, but it's all good fun. I want to continue skiing the fun stuff well beyond the half century mark. I went in 2014 and we skied with a gentleman in his 90's - and he was really good!!! Wish I'd taken a pic.
