It's bad how much I let my friends influence what I eat. I've been strong on my diet for the past few weeks and then my friend comes home for Spring Break and it almost seems impossible to stay good. Luckily I've gotten into the habit of stopping once I'm full. Which is ultimately what you want to teach yourself, right? My closest friend also gave up soda for Lent, so that's been VERY easy to follow. Lots of Sam's Choice flavored waters and Healthy Choice meals...hopefully I'll feel a change soon. I haven't yet and it's kind of disheartening...

Great job on listening to your body tell you when to stop! Well-meaning friends can really be not-so-good for us when we're trying to make these changes, but keep it up. If it's office birthday cake (or birthday cheese cake as in my case last month), just stand your ground with a, "Thanks, but I'm really full (just had a meal/snack, tummy's not feeling well, cramping, etc... what ever it takes)". Eventually they'll get it and back off and be more supportive. Keep it up!!!
