I have been so off the bus. I'm trying to get back in but its seems by stomach to big to get into the door " LOL " I cannot eat less than 20g carbs a day. I eat what I like so the cal is low but the carbs stay high. As I need to watch insulin what is the correct amount of carbs I should take to ensure weightloss

To be honest with you, you will only know that once you have done the Induction period(when you eat less than 20g of cards a day) for the 2 week period or if you want to loose more stay on it for longer and then move on to the OWL(ongoing weight loss) period when you add 5g more cards a week to see if you still loose. When you reach a certain amount of cards you will not loose or gain that will be your CCL(critical carbo level) if you go lower you will loose if you go higher you will gain. That is what you need to find out, Hope this help, best of luck 2 u

It is very hard to do so little carbs, i barely manage to keep it at 50g per day. Remember that all veg have carbs, sauces have carbs, fruits have more carbs than veg because of the natural sugars and look out for coffee.... carbs. So i am for 50g a day but you need to up your protein to about 150g per day (but also keep in mind that 100g of chicken breast meat is only 23g protein. Eat lean meats and leafy green veg, see my food picture posts and check my food diary for ideas i you need some, i log EVERYTHING.
