I'm a little bummed right now. I have moved on to phase two and get on the scale and I have gained two pounds. I'm trying to make tommorow a new day and make some different decisions food wise and see if that helps

What did you add as your friendly carb? If it is bread, it may be that you can't have that particular one...some find that the ezekial bread gives them a problem. Lisa

Make sure you are not adding too much back in to your diet too soon. Try just adding one extra thing that is not in phase 1. Like just one serving of fruit and the rest is phase 1. OR just 1 piece of bread extra. Too much of the "good stuff" can really stunt your weight loss.

I agree, do not add too much back too soon. Make sure any bread carbs you are adding are 100% whole wheat...read the ingredients label, do not rely on what the package front says. You will sometimes see "enriched whole wheat flour" and you do not want anything enriched! Also, make sure 'sugar' is not one of the 5 first ingredients....on any label. Just a little fruit at a time.........high fiber like apples w/peeling. Your body may also need a little more time on PH 1 if you are not seeing the results you would like right away after shifting to PH 2. Hang in there!!! Keep pressing on! It works!
