::sigh:: it has been 4 days on this thing and havent lost a damn pound. maybe im not doing it right. i even exercised for a hour tuesday and thursday, and 30 min on wednesday. I am getting very dissapointed. im supposed to have "rapid" weight loss these first 2 weeks and havent dropped a bit. any advice to help me?

Hey keep it together. Give it at least a full week and no doubt you will see p r o g r e s s sometimes it comes a little slower ;)

You may wanted to review what yor eating and make sure there is not to much of something. You think it's not working then all of a sudden you start to lose. You can go a week or more with no weight lose then 3 pounds just drop off. The hardest part is not weighing your self every day. Don't do it, every 3-5 days at the most. I lost 45 pounds on south beach, then kinda stalled, because of a back injury and alot of stress, meal planning was more than I could handle, but stay within southbeach for most part and did not gain it back either after 9 months. I still need to lose more and I am starting back up again. Good luck and hang in there!

Just stick with it. Sometimes my loss will stall for a week or 2 & then after that a few pounds will come off. Just stay the course & you will reap the benefits.

Don't give up! I lost the first time around on south beach 40+ pounds and felt great but it took awhile to do. Especially if you did not have poor eating habits before it or if your eating stlye has changed such as eating lots of small meals after you had only been eating one meal aday. You may just take some time for you body to adjust. Keep with it and it will work!!!!

Anicolet makes a great point about the numerous small meals. It's definitely quite a change when we all grew up eating three square meals a day. You'll be amazed at how easy the routine becomes and the pounds will melt away. You can do it!!!

I've been on SB for a week now and haven't lost any thing. I too thought I was doing something wrong.
