My sister who is a coffee snob recommends Sumatra Mandheling medium roast for people who aren't greatly into beans yet and that they pick up a grinder and store the beans in the freezer if they aren't drinking pots and pots regularly. My son drinks so much coffee it has no time for the beans to get cold. I prefer tisanes since I'm on caffeine free. 🙅🏻 But to each his/her own! 💁🏻

I like any dark roast. Starbucks carries a Sumartra that is good. If you make your own expresso...experiment til you find your taste. It is all very different for each person. I always grind the beans fine for expresso. (basic info - Iknow)

Thanks Judyrose, always good to have a refresher. This machine has settings, but I haven't bothered playing around with them.
