Not happy with my weight or how I'm eating. The other night I came on here, I weighed myself and thought...hmmmm...I can do this again. Not. I need to change myself. Tomorrow is a new day and I'm going to try...yet once again. I'm super-stressed about a lot of things, but that's an excuse. I could use that excuse not to eat, but no....I at mashed taters for dinner tonight and hubby made some home fries and I had to try them. That's embarrassing to say and maybe I need to do that to myself? Ugggg.....I can do this. I know I can. I just don't know why I'm not. I'm happy with going to school, just other stressful things going on and again...that is an excuse. I think I need some type of small schedule to follow--even if it's only ten sit-ups, ten leg lifts, a 30 minute walk. One of my problems is what I eat. I either starve myself or eat too much. I have to figure out how many calories to eat a day and I seriously have no idea.

Don't be shy in asking for help. Sadly there are one or two people here who say you MUST do XYZ to lose weight and call you stupid for trying other things but the majority of people share what worked for them and support you in finding what works for you. Draglist is one of the good guys 👍🏻

Wow, do I feel this. I did the same thing, lost over a hundred pounds and gained it back with a few bonus pounds added. I need a lifestyle change. I'm not sure how to get into that change for good but I'm actively seeking the answer. I feel your frustration, Jill.

When in doubt, start with 1200 calories a day, plus a multi vitamin to ensure you're getting enough nutrition. From there, you've got many choices as to what exercises and foods to try.

It's defiantly not easy but hang in there! I went from being a marathon runner and got lazy after the birth of my 2nd child - it took me almost 2 years to and 20 lbs later to get "motivated " again . .. and being low key was never me.. but it happens to us all and it can be challenging . Focus on what you can eat. I follow a ketogenic diet ( glorified Atkins) and I have endless energy and no appetite and I've been successful at losing weight and gaining my endurance back. We're only human, we ALL slip and fall sometimes but it's what you do moving forward . Don't deprive yourself -have a treat day - but make sure it's planned so you don't over do it. I try and stick to a 1200 to 1400 max calorie consumption. You really don't want to go much lower because you will have no energy and more likely to dip into more cravings. Good luck . 😊❤

It's not only about calories, the healthy eating is what works for me , I eat between 1200-1500 calories per day, 50% carbohydrates, 30% healthy fat and 20% protein. the app recommended me 1700. and some days I eat my favorites foods and I don't gain the weight back . Try to find what works best for you and Good luck! 😘

We're all different - I find not eating easier these days, but I certainly don't expect anyone else too. All I would say is eat real food - not processed - as nature intended - move naturally and watch those carbs - especially ones processed grains.
