Happy and healthy mother to 2 very beautiful baby girls. Looking to stay motivated tp continue to lose weight and maintain the weight loss. I never had a weight promblem.....usually only 5 to 10 lbs at the most in highschool from where the weight chart said I should be and bedside the amount of weight gained during pregnancy nearly doubled me in size.. I am afraid of gaining weight as I get older.... Almost the BIG 30...I try to stay active on most days of the week wirh Zumba, or an hour at the gym when I can but my little babies keep me a busy mommy.I know how important staying healthy is - for both my daughters .

Calories
I want to challenge the theory calories in VS. calories out. At the end of the day is it all matter of calories consumed ( In vs. out ) that matters with weight loss?? After all a calorie itself is just a unit of energy . I am fully aware of the importance of eatting healthy for not only weight management, health, lower risk for disease, ect.. but I would like to know if people have or think for that matter that when trying to lose weight you can have ice cream daily or any dessert -as long as you keep your overall calories in check . Look at weight watchers programs -Eat what you want ( Yes-they encourage healthy choices ) but foods are worth a point value and you only have so many points. I have noticed people lose weight on that program. WOULD LOVE to hear from fellow dieters on there theory. And agian I am not talking about the importance of healthy eatting for general health and feeling good but just the overall theory calories in Vs. Calories out. Thanks Everyone !!Razz

weight loss after pregnancy
Hello everyone, My name is Jamie I am from the great state of NY . I am a new mother to a beautiful baby girl of 5 weeks and I am ready to get the baby weight off. I gained over 50 lbs this pregnancy and I am feeling very discouraged -and looking for support to help me lose these pounds. I will be following my own diet plan which includes eatting healthy, smaller portions, more water and exercise. I could use any help, support, advice or tips. Thanks.

Looking for some Buddies in Virginia
Hello, I would be more than happy to join a team with you or be a co-buddy through a weight loss program. I just gave birth to a wonderful baby girl this summer and I am looking to shed these extra baby pounds. I am nearly at my 6 week point after delivery and my doctor has allowed me to resume regular activity. I could use any tips, advice on losing weight after baby. I gained over 50 lbs during this pregnancy and I want to say goodbye once and for all to it. Smile
