Ok so I'm journaling for the first time in a while and jeez if my dad didn't "make me" eat extra food today. I hate how in my family, if I turn down a fatty or sugary snack then everyone acts like I'm breaking all of the plates or something. AAHH! I literally was eating food today when I was FULL!! Just because my dad put it right in front of me. He is always cooking so much more food than is necessary then he just expects me to eat like three people's servings of everything!!! He doesn't even ask if I want it, he just attacks me with it like when I'm watching tv or just trying to take my mind off of food. So when he puts it in front of me, I end up mindlessly eating it ugghhhhhhh :,( I feel so gross.

Maybe your relatives are jealous that you making efforts to lose weight? Some of my relatives, close friends, and coworkers can get that way with pushing food on me when they see me eating healthy and eating less. Oh and you definitely not gross! It sucks when parents seem to encourage unhealthy eating habits (e.g. binge eating).

My mom is always worrying over my weight, but when I visit she's pushing pizza, chips and ice cream on me. I think it's just what parents do.

That is hard, is there a way to ask if you can put it up for later? That might help.

a bit of reverse psychology ask him to cook you a healthy recipe and if he cooks greasy cover it and put in the fridge say its for later. when he finds 4 plates in the fridge he will readjust lower coz he will know you are not gonna eat it.
