You'll lose weight. You'll be running flat out the whole week.

Nah'...set the example. The oldest can eat fish and veggies, so can the youngest as they won't be spicy. The middle child....unless they can drive themselves to the store and buy their own junk, they're out of luck. They won't like it...but at least you won't be contributing to their obesity later in life.

Good luck with it....might be easier to prepare some foods ahead for yourself, even freeze them if appropriate, to avoid potential pitfalls? Hope you are able to enjoy the time with your grandchildren though.

Mahjohn - Good suggestions. Last time I compromised with healthier choices and they survived.

DH used to cater to my kids and make something different for every one till i finally put my foot down and told every " my house isnt a restaurant." Of course I would never make something someone couldnt/wouldnt eat, especially for an allergy BUT I do try and make sure we all eat the same thing to save time and money. Now the kids are older and we usually only have a meal or two together each week so I would prolly gladly make 15 different things if they asked LOL ..

Make lots of "muffin pan foods" and freeze. Can make eggs with veggies and cheese, bake and freeze, little meatloaf (even with ground turkey), little pizzas (that way they can have them and you don't have too). Good Luck!

I know I know I know... Thankfully, My grand kids do like good food, but they are never on the same page as to what they are wanting to eat!!!! I usually have 2 protein choices, 2 veggies, 2 fruits etc...this way they can have a choice and I have leftovers which in turn helps me... Good Luck!

Wait, do they like cheese slices or string cheese.. I know deli meats and hot dogs are not so good for us, but they aren't too bad in carbs. .. I really feel for you.. Let us know how you cope, Maybe someone else will have some ideas for the little buggers.
