OK! So finally post the holiday I was able to get batteries in the scale and I weighed in at 178! Not good...but... definitely not the worst. So after the initial holiday bulge I course corrected last week and will be doing so this week. Starting off 2 pounds higher than before is something I can work with!

I started working out a bit. I went hiking and actually went to the gym with the Lovey and I out ran him! Surprisingly...he always seems so much more fitter than I because he's just more active than I am...but honestly, I have more endurance than he does. I guess that's expected since I've always been more of a distance person rather than a sprinter. He's definitely a sprinter.

I did a 30 minute treadmill session where I walked a bit, ran very slowly and over time I increased the run rate. I was able to run at 4.5 for quite a long time I'd say about 10-15 mintues straight!. After the 30 minutes was up, I was waiting for a football game to end so I ended up walking at an incline for 10 minutes - incline was at 7! Needless to say the quads are a bit on fire. LOL! My goal now is to start working out more regularly.

I also started the sublingual drops for 5X Trim... I started it last Friday, but since the scale was busted I'm not 100% sure if the 178 is a result of that stuff working through the body or not. Doesn't really matter, we'll see if it helps for future weigh ins.

All in all I think 2016 is the year of health, I desperately need it, after 2015 was the year of ridiculous amounts of change and travel... I need a year of health!

So far so good in terms of outlook for 2016 even though I'm 2 pounds over the start weight! Woot!
