It's been a stressful week with Mom having a new aortic valve put in. I ate out at the hospital one evening and still managed to eat healthy/stay within my calories. Tonight, I had a piece of beef instead of fish. I was worried that it would be too many calories and that red meat wasn't healthy, but ate it anyway. The calories weren't bad. I actually put down more than what I actually had "just in case." Also, I figured I may need the protein/iron (?) from the red meat. Tomorrow, I will be back to eating fish.
