This was Sydney after we picked her up frim Vet. She was tired and wanted to be by my side all night. We have decided to go ahead with the surgery. She will have it next Tues. Even if she only lives another year, its worth it to us.

Diana i know EXACTLY what you mean. When i was a little girl and TMI but being terribly abused and told no one but my little dog knew. She slept with me, she cuddled with me, she played with me and she let me cry into her shoulder many many times. I still miss her and it’s been over 40 years. I dont understand humans that can be unkind to living creatures. I just dont.

I totally understand your decision to go ahead with the surgery to buy some time with Sydney. Even though Bogy's surgery only gave us an additional 8 months with him, we didn't regret the decision. Continuing to pray for her & you. ❤️

Praying that the surgery is successful and your baby feels better right away. I can relate to wanting more time with one’s fur baby. My husband and I opted for chemo for one of our labs and it gave us 6 more months. Dogs handle chemo less severely than humans do, so our lab didn’t have the harsh side effects seen in humans. Those extra six months were precious. Thinking of you all.
