Chynah's Journal, 12 September 2015

I decided to incorporate bulletproof coffee into my meal plan. I was nervous about trying it because, honestly, it sounds disgusting. But I've read a lot of positive reviews. So I figured, what the heck. Why not?
My scale has been moving slow...but still going in the right direction. I've been averaging about .02lbs per day. I drank the bulletproof coffee for the first time yesterday morning and today I am down 1.4lbs and my energy level also increased.
I drank 12oz w/1tbsp butter and 1tbsp coconut oil my first day. Today I increased the butter to 2tbsp. I was told to slowly build myself up to 2tbsp butter and oil. But I love the taste so no need to increase slowly. I have some MCT oil on the way from Amazon because it's suppose to be much stronger than coconut oil. Only 1 day and I am so excited by the results. Higher energy and not as hungry. I can't wait to see the results once I start using the correct oil.

I really like it. I notice a big difference in energy, if nothing else

It made me nauseous. I have no problems simply swallowing a tablespoon of coconut oil, so it had to be the butter. I'm on a 7 day, no milk challenge right now, so maybe I'll try again next week. I'm glad it's working for you!

I love the bpc but I only use the coconut oil. I also put in a little cinnamon and have put in an egg. I tried the mct oil but made me nauseous. Great energy and not hungry til late afternoon.

I use heavy Cream,, and Coconut oil and sometimes butter . Give me that burst of energy and satisfies me for hours. No silly annoying cravings at all !

The Mct oil made me nauseous too. After a little research I found it's better to ease into a full tbsp and/or take it with food. Now I use 1tsp of oil and usually have some form of eggs for breakfast. So far... so good.

Don't forget that you have to blend the bulletproof coffee with a blender or mixer to get the yummy frothy texture.
