About me, hmmm.... I'm a 59 year old woman who loves to cook and loves to eat. Unfortunately, I'm an excellent cook, and so is my beloved. The difference is I'm 5'7', 193 lbs, and he's 6'2", 180 lbs, and several years younger.
I had gained weight in the last few years of a hurtful marriage, and at my highest, weighed 205 lbs. I lost weight after the split and when I moved back to NC, I weighed 165 and was fairly active but had still hip and back problems that had plagued me for years. Since then I have had hip replacement surgery which has helped my hip, but not my back, and I have regained over 35 lbs. Now, in addition to having high blood pressure, degenerative disc disease, and osteoarthritis, I am also having problems with my other hip.
My goal is to lose 30 lbs, and I would like to do it tomorrow, but realistically, my goal is to do it in 6 months. Hopefully by losing this weight, I can get my hip to last another year!

binge eating
It could actually be that you aren't eating enough during the day. Have oatmeal with coconut milk and cinnamon for breakfast, then a totally green salad for lunch: romaine lettuce, cucumber, green onions, green pepper, and top it with some diced chicken breast. If you're hungry at 3, eat almonds...slowly... and drink lemon water. Good luck!
