Sometimes I just gotta have a cookie, so I looked up cookies to try to find the lowest calorie ones. Yah, I know I could settle for a rice cake with some Nutella on top or a plain chocolate rice cake would be even better....but just sometimes ya just gotta have that cookie! Found a list of cookies on the internet and was surprised to see Fig Newtons listed among other cookies, I would have thought would be high in calories. Turns out, the website is going on per serving instead of per cookie. I decided to do my own comparison using per cookie, instead of per serving. Discovered the old fashioned cookies my mom and Grammy always bought turned out to be the lowest in calories! Yep...Social Tea biscuits are only 20 cal. per cookie! Nilla Wafers are 18....Ginger Snaps (Good luck finding these wonderful creations.) are 30 and those butter cookies that look like daisies are 30 cal. On the other end of the spectrum....Fig Newtons are 50 cal.! Oreos are 53. Golden Oreos are 56. Nutter Butter are 65! Milano are 70! What an eye opener!

The triple ginger cookies😋 from Trader Joe's have to be made by the devil. I can usually only eat 1cookie but I lose all control with those things🤷‍♀️

I haven't seen butter cookies in years. My grandparents always had them. I'd wear them on my finger like rings and take bites.

hey, to add a couple (bc i am a cookie eater) Stauffer's lemon snaps and trader joe's butter waffle cookies - both meet my criteria for good taste, bulk, relatively low calorie and not a lot of fat. (and yes, they are processed, for those who stay completely away from processed food)

Cookies are a hard one… I’m doing Skinny Dipped chocolate squares and cups for dessert and it’s really working. You’ll find a good match for you!

Magpiezoe— ginger snaps have always been a favorite for me as well. You are right, for a very long time I didn’t eat them because whatever I found was just not the same. I walked into SPROUTS one day and there they were——STAUFFER is the brand of my childhood. Then, I found them at a discount place called Big Lots. That same brand also makes a lemon cookie that is also killer. I usually keep a bag around in an airtight container and have just 2-3 once in a while. I can do that because I don’t have some of the binge or control issues that plague many here

I like Ikea's ginger thins. they're 140 calories for 6, so about 23 per cookie
