Well it happened....I woke up yesterday with a " tweak" in my lower back. I went to body pump and couldn't lift my normal weight. I ended up doing most of class using bodyweight. It was awful. Came home and did heat and ice all day and used my massage gun. It is slightly better this morning but no workout today. I don't really even know how I did it but I have been hitting gym 6 days a week and lifting pretty heavy.Ugh..I will say it again...getting old sucks!😡
128.8 lb Lost so far: 26.2 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

It's the morning-after-injury stiffness that gets me, where you have to slowly and carefully stretch everything before leaving the bed, all the while the bladder is screaming. If it's just a twinge in your back and not the spine (sciatica is awful), then I bet you'll be back in the gym in no time, Diana 💚

Sorry to hear you tweaked your lower back. That area is the worst to deal with when that happens. Especially, when you try to wak and you are bending over or get stuck needing to get up. I did the same thing a couple weeks ago. I hope it passes quickly.

Supergainz, I don't have a roller but I do use the roller at gym and I have a massage gun. I am feeling better tonight. I think my old body is just telling me to rest! JB, It's more than a twinge but it is better tonight. I've been stretching all day and took ibuprofen.

Navywife, Bending over is the worst! Im sorry to hear that your back was bothering you awhile back..it certainly isn't pleasant..I stretched today and did heat and ice. Hopefully I can pack RV tomorrow!💜💜

Thanks! I stick to the heat. I only like cold when I am hot. lol Goodness! That's right, you are getting ready for vacation! Hope you can do it, too!:) Take it easy!

oh dear... take care of yourself. maybe going so hard almost daily isn't quite what your body likes. I hope you feel better very quickly

Thanks Melissa! I feel a bit better today. Now if I can just stop stress/ pain eating...lol. Chocolate has been calling my name lately!!🍫🍫🍫

Mermee, thanks! I'm headed to gym in a bit and will do what I can do. Leaving on a months vacation tomorrow. Wanted to go having my weight low but looks like that won't happen. Oh well, I've got my weights and I'll do utube videos and zoom classes plus they have a small gym where we are going. Take care!!💜💜💜💜💜

The problem with getting older is I never know if the pain I feel is being caused by my workout or the arthritis I know is progressing. Hope your back gets better so that you can get packed (been there...it's a lot of work) & enjoy your trip.

Diana, stretching can be a lifesaver! I don't look at it as a separate exercise/workout, that's where it can be easily 'put off'. Every exercise session starts with a full slow and easy stretch then treadmill, warm up, then onto ..... Diana, believe me please, doing this will save you a lot of pain in the future. Looking forward to your vacation photos as I'm 'stuck' here. Have a great day :-)

Diana - I know what you mean about being ready before you go on vacation! We are getting ready for a vacation and want to be in my zone before we go so that hopefully I don't de-rail to bad. Although the trainer told us to just enjoy vacation, don't track macros and he said it will come off fast when we get back. Enjoy your vacation! On my bucket list when I retire is a cruise thru the Panama canals so leave from Florida and come back up thru California.

Sherrye, I walked 3 miles and did ok. Im getting ready to pack RV so we will see how that goes...I just hate that I don't even know what I did. I too have some joint/ arthritis issues.💜💜 Redporchlady, hope you have a great vacation! We love be to travel. Our next big trip will be Europe. Maine coons, and buenita, thanks guys. I did pack the RV yesterday and I was definitely sore but I feel a bit better this morning. We are excited to go on our trip! Not far but it's good to get out of town!💜💜💜
