It's terrible. Someone needs to put a stop to this price gouging.

That's pretty high. We are also half that price...

And we shouldn’t be here…if we were energy independent

Only 3 years ago we were exporting oil. That's energy independence.

Hopefully the rest of the country won’t hit the cost of gas like California. Oil companies have no good answer why we are so much higher than elsewhere. We are actually scheduled to receive a small energy rebate in the next few weeks. Won’t amount to much.but better than nothing

Well we also have to look at ourselves and our unwillingness to voluntarily control energy consumptions. Gas guzzling SUVs, big trucks, RVs. I’m guilty, but I got rid of my big Dodge Ram and my Corolla and replaced with a RAV 4. Electric cars are not really going to cut it. My friend just bought a Tesla— I can’t I,age what that new battery will cost in a few years. Pretty candy apple red police magnet

Tesla replacement battery is $25K by the dealer and they are currently the only option. Batteries will most likely require replacement every 10 years. I'll be getting a golf cart and keeping my current vehicle.

Federal govt needs to mandate that all auto mfgs allow independents to perform battery maintenance on the individual cells rather than replacing the whole thing. My two cents. Less $25,000.

And how are those batteries disposed of? What impact do those heavy minerals have on the environment? I don't think anyone denies things have to change, but we need a better plan.
I'll give up my farm equipment when Kerry and the "stars" give up their private jets and reduce their consumption.
