curious, would you buy a Bowflex type machine again or something else? I see them on next-door all the time and I might grab one at some point.

I actually love the bowflex. My kids both worked in a used sporting goods store and we got it for $80 (instead of $1600 new). Ironically, the rods cost more than that to replace, which is why I like finding an economical solution. Bottom line is that it's really versatile in a relatively small space.
