What an unhappy way to start the morning. The first thing I get trying to start up my computer is the blue screen of death. Twice. Then I finally get in and do all the stuff I'm not supposed to do at work (check e-mail, fatsecret, facebook) and see that a friend of mine that specifically tells me she misses me was at the concert this weekend. "Oh we have to hang out. Will you be in town? I missssss you" blah blah blah bullshit. Whatever right? Maybe she didn't know... oh wait, I told her I was going. Ugh, I just hate people. To dig even deeper she went with my crazy ex-concert buddy which is, I'm sure, why she didn't mention she was going. Water under the bridge people. I haven't seen my ex-concert buddy in three years, I'm sure running into her for 15 minutes wouldn't have killed either of us.
Alright. Bitch-fest aside, this weekend was a pretty good one. I got to hang out with my brother and drink some fantastic beer. And so much for "cheating" this weekend. Even yesterday I had a low calorie day. Totally not in character for me.
Now I have to figure out how to get out of work early because I have an phone interview. Not sure how to do it. I really don't like lying. But I can't just haul off and say, "Hey I don't want to work here and I have to leave early because of it."
Well, anyway, I feel better. HAPPY MONDAY ALL!
