On the long-term trend (measured by TrendWeight.com), I gained 1.5 net pounds in March. My body fat percentage went up by .2 percent (1.0 pounds). My lean mass went up by .5 pounds. I ate 21 more calories per day on average, and I burned 92 more calories per day. I did 16:8 IF, but I also added a five-day fasting-mimicking diet (FMD) in week three.

My average carbs went from 85 grams to 99 grams per day on a 50-gram target (cheat meals skewed the average). My average fat intake went from 81 to 78 grams per day on a 100-gram target. My protein went from 145 to 133 grams per day. I was aiming for 150 protein, 50 carbs, and 100 fat. My estimated alcohol intake (total calories minus macros multiplied) went from 231 calories a day to 269. Lots of red wine involved.

I ended the month at 227.5 pounds, but I did go as low as 224.0 after one FMD week. For April, I will try for 150-200 grams of protein per day but try to keep my overall 'energy' macros within 1100 calories (whatever combination of carbs and fat leads to that number). Roughly 1700 calories per day, but may go over if the calories result from protein. The experiments continue!
