I just finished making my eighth batch of pomegranate blueberry jam with lemon.. I kept six pint jars and included the rest in Christmas baskets. So fun. I also crocheted 8 scarves (that’s all I know how to make). My friends always laugh as they are opening their scarf and trying to act surprised. They get one every year— but it is fun too, keeps me out of their hair and off the streets in this Covid world. We don’t really use them much in Southern California but it makes a great fashion accessory with our boots , flannel shirts and fleece jackets. Hehehehe.

if you know how to knit a scarf, you also know how to knit a headband, a trivet, a potholder and an infinity scarf. it's all about knowing when to stop and tie it off.

The scarfs I just hang on to and give away during the winter. I have also boxed them up and just randomly send them to churches back East where it gets really cold and they might get pu to good use. I do have and still use pot holders that I made 20 years ago. They last forever.
