So nice to see everyone's Thanksgiving celebration posts. Safe, smaller, but still an important day. This is my favorite holiday. It does not celebrate war, or nationalism, it isn't decisive, or about one religion, it isn't for any one group. It is literally about the most basic and important concept that enriches every life, gratitude. Yet, this year more than ever we need to remember that so many people have lost their livelihood, their homes, and their hope during a dark time. My hope is that we all use Thanksgiving to give thanks and give hope by committing to helping those less fortunate this coming year. May there be a new day, a new light that unites us in thanks and hope.
