Don't force it if you aren't hungry

If this is a one off just let it go if you aren’t hungry, but if it happens often redo your RDI based on your weight loss and see if it is set too high and make an adjustment.

What do you think? Do you really need someone to answer that question for you?

What are your goals?

I don't know what your daily calorie goal is, as an older, sedentary woman, mine is right around 1300. I never go under 1200, because I find that it backfires if I do it too often. So the answer I would give myself is that if my deficit brings me right around 1200 and I am not hungry, I would let it be.

My opinion, it’s good to track daily, but it’s not the daily intake to worry about instead focus on weekly. Example: if your goal is 2k calories a day and you miss that number you can make it up the following day and it will still contribute to your weekly goal. A lot of people mess up thinking the next day resets and they can’t make it up whether it be loosing or gaining weight it’s the same.
