Happy, Happy Friday!
The sun is shining! It is a great morning as I sit with my coffee looking at the back garden full of...weeds that interfere with the hostas !
I have lots to do and less time to do it. THIS weekend we are driving north about four hours to hang at the lake cabin of our friends until Monday evening. The good news is we will bicycle and hike; and swim if warm enough. SO I hope to get the body moving!
And, my friend's wife is an extremely healthy eater so I decided to eat whatever she eats...LOL. In fact, she is almost worrisome with how thin she has become...but she eats so it not like an eating disorder thin...she just avoids gluten, bad fats, most carbs, sugar, salt, etc.
I will likely bring my protein powder, almonds, and some turkey jerky. Once I am "in the mode" I know what to do.
But, this intelligent and reasonable woman has an irrational fear of the Idiot Box today. I wanted to weigh myself. I planned to weigh myself. Fat Secret wants me to weigh myself...BUT I just cannot do it today. I do not want to know exactly how much I gained. I can tell by my jeans and pants. I do not want to feel like a failure...and the Idiot Box has that power right now.
