Nice scenery for your walk. I was thinking yesterday I was getting a little bored with our afternoon walk scenery. We walk in our neighborhood...it's good cause we go up & down hills. Some days we do see deer. I need to encourage the hubby to go walk in some other locations.

Thanks everybody! The walk was nice, only about 1/2 mile on the trail and the rest is on the neighborhood streets. Bobby was looking for squirrels! We just got back from the same walk but added another 30 minutes. So I am tired after walking 90 minutes. I am enjoying stir frying! It's good with just the veggies and added nuts. I always made it with chicken before.

Thanks Melissa. The first couple days of the fast were more difficult. I stopped thinking of "day 1" then "day 2" etc because there are 21 days and it seems like such a long time when I am counting the days. So now I am just taking it one day at a time. I'm glad I joined the challenge to walk at least a mile a day. I've been getting lazy in the mornings and then talk myself out of walking. The challenges are motivating to me.

Erika - I'm in Northern California. I'm in a rural area and we get snow maybe every couple years. But it never sticks and usually melts before it hits the ground. The next town over, where I go grocery shopping and doctor appointments is about 500-1000 feet higher in elevation. They get snow that sticks around for a few days.

Love the picture of the trail. I love it and it's perfect for framing because it represents a cross road. Which direction will you take in life? Happy to hear you are moving and staying on the Daniel Fast. Preparing my home for my upcoming fast that will start in a few weeks. Glad to see you are staying the course and moving in nature. Did you realize you took a walking mediation in nature?

Thanks Keyten! I signed up for another challenge to walk at least a mile a day. Thanks Dawnie. Butterfly it is nice to walk in nature. It's been raining this morning so will have to stick to the streets today.
